Both nylon and cotton flags are made in the USA and have embroidered stars. Generally nylon is better for flying outside as it lasts longer.

Flags are flown by request only. Please enter in the comments section of the order form the future date you would like the flag flown as well as the name as you would like it to appear on the flag certificate. Requests must be received no later then 2 weeks in advance but no more then 2 months in advance. The USS Arizona Memorial is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day and therefore no flags can be flown on those days.
